The largest and liveliest of the three Gili islands, also nicknamed Gili “T”. The port is located in the southeast of the island, which is the busiest area full of bars, restaurants, and shops. You can cycle around the entire island in about half an hour. The north of the island is quieter, where you’ll need a flashlight at night to see. There are no cars or motorcycles on the island, so you can get around on foot, by bike, or by horse-drawn carriage. Cat lovers will be delighted as cats are everywhere on the island. There are sandy beaches all around the island, but there are corals in the water, so water shoes are a good idea. The sea is usually calm, and the waves are only small. You can snorkel or dive along the entire coast.
